Chapel at the Tre Croci (Three Crosses) Pass

The chapel stands on the short flat stretch of the saddle of Passo Tre Croci and is flanked by three simple wooden crosses.

Description

It was built in 1906 by the then owner of the hotel near the Pass, Giuseppe Menardi. The simple light-colored structure outlined in brown encloses an interior with a single compartment with a raised presbytery. The altar, coming from the church of Cadin, was placed here in 1950: it is a good nineteenth-century work in wood, harmoniously articulated in niches, columns and calibrated inlays.
